These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your download, access to, and use of TranslateFast: AI Translator (the “App,” “TranslateFast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You may not use the App where prohibited by law.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the applicable App Store usage rules. The App is licensed, not sold.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, bypass access controls, interfere with security, or use the App to develop a competing service except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.
3. App Features
The App may provide:
- text translation and language switching;
- camera and selected-photo text recognition;
- voice transcription and split-screen conversation;
- locally stored translation history and favorites;
- travel, business, and study modes;
- free and paid feature tiers; and
- optional promotions or advertisements.
Feature availability, supported languages, accuracy, and whether processing occurs on-device may depend on the device, iOS version, downloaded language models, network access, permissions, region, and Apple service availability.
4. Translation and AI Output Disclaimer
Translations, transcriptions, optical-character-recognition results, tone suggestions, confidence labels, and other generated output may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or inappropriate for the intended context. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or sharing it.
The App is a general communication aid. It is not a certified interpreter and must not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, immigration, safety, or emergency advice. Obtain a qualified human translator or professional review for contracts, healthcare decisions, legal filings, financial instructions, emergency communication, and other high-risk uses.
Do not rely on the App where an error could cause death, personal injury, discrimination, financial loss, loss of legal rights, or other material harm.
5. Permissions and User Content
You choose the text, images, and speech submitted for processing (“User Content”). You retain any rights you hold in User Content. You grant us only the limited permission necessary for the App and relevant Apple platform services to process User Content and provide the requested feature.
You represent that you have the right to use the User Content and that processing it through the App will not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property, confidentiality, or other rights. Do not use the App to record or process another person’s voice, image, private communications, or confidential documents without any consent required by law.
Camera, photo-library, microphone, and speech-recognition features require the relevant iOS permissions. If permission is denied or withdrawn, the related feature may be unavailable.
6. Free Features and Pro Features
The App may provide limited free use of certain features. Limits may apply to camera translation, voice conversation, translation history, advanced tone controls, themes, advertisements, or other functionality. The paywall shown before purchase identifies the features included in the selected plan.
We may adjust free limits or paid-feature packaging prospectively. Changes will not reduce access already owed during an active paid subscription except where necessary for security, law, third-party service changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
7. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
The App may offer weekly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions, with or without a three-day introductory free trial. The current product variants are:
- Weekly Pro — USD 9.99 per week, no trial;
- Annual Pro — USD 99.99 per year, no trial;
- Weekly Pro with Trial — three days free, then USD 9.99 per week; and
- Annual Pro with Trial — three days free, then USD 99.99 per year.
Prices above describe the intended U.S. storefront configuration. The exact product name, subscription duration, included benefits, localized price, taxes, introductory-offer eligibility, and trial terms displayed in the App Store purchase sheet immediately before confirmation control your purchase.
7.1 Billing and renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription automatically renews for the same duration unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged at the price Apple shows for your storefront, subject to any notice or consent required by Apple or applicable law.
7.2 Trials and introductory offers
If a free trial or introductory offer is available, the paywall and Apple purchase sheet will disclose its duration, eligibility, and the price charged after it ends. Unless canceled before the disclosed deadline, the offer converts to the applicable paid subscription. Eligibility is determined by Apple. Any unused portion of a trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where permitted by Apple and applicable law.
7.3 Manage or cancel
You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription from your device: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > TranslateFast. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the then-current paid period.
7.4 Restore purchases
Use Restore Purchases in the App to restore an eligible subscription associated with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. A successful restoration may require network access and App Store availability.
7.5 Refunds
Apple processes App Store payments and refund requests. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, refunds are governed by Apple’s policies and must be requested from Apple. We cannot issue an App Store refund directly.
8. Advertisements and Promotions
The free version may display first-party promotions or third-party advertisements. A paid tier may remove certain ads, as described on the paywall. “Ad-free” does not necessarily remove operational notices, subscription messages, feature recommendations, or legally required disclosures.
The current demonstration build does not include a live third-party advertising SDK. If live advertising is introduced, related data practices will be disclosed in the Privacy Policy before collection begins.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use the App to:
- violate law or another person’s rights;
- harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or exploit another person;
- create or distribute unlawful, malicious, or infringing content;
- translate or process content you are not authorized to access;
- interfere with the App, Apple services, networks, or security controls;
- automate excessive requests or attempt unauthorized access; or
- misrepresent machine-generated output as certified professional translation.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
10. Ownership
We and our licensors retain all rights in the App, including its software, interface, design, branding, documentation, and original content. Apple names, platform technologies, and trademarks belong to Apple or their respective owners. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or branding.
11. Availability, Updates, and Changes
We may update, repair, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App. Some updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued operation. Language models or Apple platform services may need to be downloaded and may change independently of us.
We do not guarantee that every feature or language will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or region.
12. Third-Party and Apple Services
The App relies on services supplied by Apple, including Vision, Speech, Translation, StoreKit, the App Store, and system permission controls. Your use of those services is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for outages, restrictions, or changes to third-party services beyond our reasonable control.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hong Kong Source Research Society Supply Chain Limited and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunity, goodwill, or legal rights arising from the App or translation output.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD 50. This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
15. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. These Terms remain applicable to subscriptions and obligations incurred before termination. We may terminate or restrict the license if you materially violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction confirmed by the Company’s legal counsel, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in the confirmed jurisdiction will have jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer-protection law may allow you to bring a claim in your place of residence or provide other rights that cannot be waived.

17. Apple-Specific Terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Hong Kong Source Research Society Supply Chain Limited, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content, maintenance, support, warranties, and claims, except as otherwise required by law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the App’s purchase price, if any, as required by its policies; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific provisions against you upon your acceptance of these Terms.
These Terms supplement the Apple Media Services Terms and any applicable Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If a mandatory Apple term conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory Apple term controls to the extent of the conflict.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, subscriptions, law, or service providers. We will update the effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. If you continue using the App after revised Terms become effective, you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
