1. Information you provide
When you use TranslateFast, you may enter text, capture images containing text, or provide speech for translation. This content is used to return the translation or related result you request. Depending on the selected language, feature, device capabilities, and downloaded Apple language resources, processing may occur on your device or through the translation and speech services available to the app.
2. Device permissions
TranslateFast may ask for camera access to scan text, microphone access for voice conversations, speech recognition access where required, and notification access if you enable reminders. These permissions are optional and are requested only when a related feature needs them. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
3. Translation history
Your recent translations, saved phrases, and vocabulary are stored locally on your device so you can search, reuse, or delete them. TranslateFast does not require an account for this local history. Removing records in the app or deleting the app removes this locally stored content, subject to normal device backup behavior.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
TranslateFast Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may provide transaction status, subscription entitlement, country or region, and related purchase information needed to activate Pro features and support purchase restoration. Apple handles this information under its own privacy policy.
5. Diagnostics
Apple may make aggregated crash and diagnostic information available when you choose to share analytics with developers in your device settings. We may use this limited information to improve reliability and performance. It is not used to build advertising profiles.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to operate features you request, comply with law, protect users and the service, or complete purchases through Apple. TranslateFast does not use translation content for cross-app tracking.
7. Data retention and your choices
Locally saved history remains until you delete individual records, clear history, or remove the app. Content handled by system or service providers is governed by their applicable retention and privacy terms. You can limit data access by disabling permissions, choosing downloaded language resources when available, and managing Apple analytics sharing in iOS Settings.
8. Children
TranslateFast is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International use
Translation features may be used while traveling. The availability and processing of specific languages can vary by location, device hardware, and the language resources installed on your device.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes or legal requirements evolve. The updated date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
